The Reflectaline leash cover was created by Catherine Lee to address the real need of staying visible at night while walking her active terrier, Olivia. When she was adopted from the SPCA, Olivia was only 6 months old and had so much energy she needed at least two walks a day. Through the summer it was easy to meet that need, but once winter came it was dark by 6pm. Catherine searched for things that would keep them both visible (even resorting to wearing a construction style vest). She realized it would be just as important for Olivia to be seen and set out to create a way to create a reflective leash.
